The fifth Xtrack symposium will take place on 18 September 2008, in the Educatorium on the Uithof campus in Utrecht (the Netherlands).

  Directions to the Uithof

By Car  [go up]

From Amsterdam (and Schiphol)
- Take the A2 motorway to Utrecht.
- Upon approaching the city, take the exit Utrecht Noord onto the N230.
- Follow the N230 and take the A27 exit.
- On the A27 motorway, follow the De Uithof sign at the Rijnsweerd intersection onto the A28.
- Take the first exit marked De Uithof.

From The Hague, Rotterdam or Arnhem
- Take the A12 motorway to Utrecht.
- Follow the A12 until the Lunetten intersection.
- Take the exit Amersfoort onto the A27 motorway.
- Follow the De Uithof sign at the Rijnsweerd intersection onto the A28 motorway.
- Take the first exit marked De Uithof.

From Hilversum or Breda
- Take the A27 motorway to Utrecht.
- On the A27, take the De Uithof exit onto the A28 at the Rijnsweerd intersection.
- On the A28, take the first exit marked the De Uithof.

From Amersfoort
- Take the A28 motorway to Utrecht.
- On the A28, take the first exit marked De Uithof.

From Den Bosch or Eindhoven 
- Take the A2 motorway to Utrecht, and follow this until you approach the city.
- Take the Amersfoort exit to the A27 at the Oudenrijn intersection.
- On the A27, take the Amersfoort exit onto the A28 at the Lunetten intersection.
- On the A28, take the first exit marked De Uithof.

By Public Transport  [go up]

By train and bus
- Take the train to Utrecht Central Station.
- From there, you can either take bus 12, bus 12S or bus 11 (in directions The Uithof, UMC, AZU). The busride will take approximately 20 minutes, and costs 3 'strippen'. It is also possible to buy a single ticket on the bus.
- Get out at the busstop at the Heidelberglaan.
- Cross the road and enter the W.C. van Unnik building.
- Once inside, you can simply follow our signs to reach the symposium.

Directions to the Educatorium  [go up]

From the exit to the Uithof, take a left turn onto the Universiteitsweg. Follow the road until you can take a turn to the right, onto the Leuvenlaan. On your left side, you will then see the glass building of the Educatorium.

There are various parking facilities on the Uithof. One can, for instance, use the parking garage on the Cambridgelaan. In order to reach this, do not turn right onto the Leuvenlaan; instead, follow the Universiteitsweg until you reach the very end, and then turn right onto the Cambridgelaan. Approximately 100 meters further, you will find the entrance to the parking garage on your right side.

Once inside, you can follow our signs to reach the symposium.
